Work pattern: 39 hours per week

We’re looking for a Roofing and Builder Operative to join our team at Wheatley Homes East.

Our property services team delivers repairs, maintenance and investment services for our customers living in the east of Scotland.

The role involves working with and assisting our team of multi-skilled operatives, roofers and builders to carry out repairs in our customers’ homes and getting empty properties ready to re-let.

We are looking for people who take pride in their work and will help us achieve our targets for response times, re-letting times, getting repairs right first time and customer satisfaction.

All staff are equipped with a stocked van with jobs being sent to a hand-held device and replacement materials being supplied.

Experience of working in social housing is desirable but not essential.

A driving license is essential, and the posts are subject to a basic disclosure check.
