Help Volunteer Glasgow make a difference

If you're looking to offer support to a young person in Glasgow, then here’s your chance.

Volunteer Glasgow are looking for help to mentor young people in the city

Volunteer Glasgow is looking for help in befriending vulnerable young people aged eight to 18 across the city.

Befriending and mentoring offer support to young people who may have difficulties at home or at school or have health or disability issues, among other things.

Weekly contact with a volunteer can have a positive impact on young people’s confidence and help them develop skills.

If you’re over 18 and can commit to three or four hours a week, it’s a good chance to make a difference to a young person in the city.

You don’t need any experience, you’ll get full training and support as well as expenses.

If you’re interested, phone 0141 226 3431 or email befriending@volunteerglasgow.org
