About the role

The role has a focus on providing independent, risk-based landlord assurance to protect customer health and wellbeing, ensure regulatory compliance and support effective Healthy Homes delivery. As a key technical specialist within the Healthy Homes Team, the role acts as an escalated point of expertise for recurring, complex, high-risk cases. You will demonstrate a robust approach to landlord assurance and compliance, ensuring all activity aligns with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures. This includes undertaking surveys, providing clear technical advice, maintaining accurate records and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions to protect customers and housing stock. A strong understanding of the health, wellbeing and social impacts associated with damp and mould is essential. You will deliver a high standard of customer service, particularly where customers may be living in challenging circumstances, ensuring communication is professional, empathetic and customer-focused at all times.
