Stock Condition Officer (x2)
Are you passionate about property management and ensuring the maintenance of housing standards? We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Stock Condition Officer.
The Stock Condition Officer will be responsible for supporting the assets team, and the Stock Condition Surveyors. As a Stock Condition Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the assets team by carrying out stock condition surveys, and supporting other surveys on the Group’s assets, in West, East and South Scotland. A key part of this role will be collecting stock information and data, ensuring accurate records are updated and stored to ensure reports are generated correctly and that all data is held correctly.
Key responsibilities
- support our Stock Condition Surveyors with inspections of residential properties to evaluate their physical condition;
- compile and maintain accurate records of stock condition surveys using relevant software and tools; and
- collaborate with the asset management teams to prioritise works and programmes.
Qualifications and skills
- NVQ Level 4 or HNC in Building Surveying or suitable equivalent construction related subject is essential;
- AssocRICS membership is essential;
- experience in relevant building industry or surveying post is essential;
- knowledge of building construction, maintenance practices, and housing regulations;
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- proficiency in using data collection software and Microsoft Office Suite; and
- ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while working independently or as part of a team.
