About the role

To provide a reliable, efficient and professional Repairs Technician service across local communities, delivering day-to-day repairs, cyclical works and support to compliance activities where required.

The role will promote Wheatley Homes South’s “Think Yes” approach by delivering excellent customer service through effective communication, appointment keeping, safe working practices and a Right First-Time mindset. The Repairs Technician will support the delivery of high-quality repairs and make-safe works, working collaboratively with customers and colleagues to achieve positive outcomes while ensuring all activities are completed in line with Wheatley Homes South standards, health and safety requirements, and relevant legislative and regulatory compliance obligations.

  • committing to continuous professional development through formal and informal learning opportunities;
  • working in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures, including taking responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others who may be affected by work activities, including compliance with CDM 2015 requirements;
