About the roleThe WHE Business Support team provides a key role in the delivery of business management and back-office support within the WHE Repairs service.
The Admin Assistant will play a key role within Business Management Support. The function supports all aspects of repairs admin, focusing on financial, materials management, job admin and invoicing. As such, the role involves working closely within a small team of Business Support colleagues, repairs operations team and key supply chain partners (material supply and subcontractors), as well as colleagues in WHE Finance, Housing, Investment, Compliance and Performance Teams.
Who are we looking for?The ideal candidate will have experience of operating remotely from home to carry out office administration, be familiar with Microsoft office 360 and Teams. They should be comfortable with navigating around different IT systems as well as engaging and building relationships with repairs front line staff, contractors and suppliers. They need to have experience with accurate data entry, system admin and purchase orders.
Experience of a repairs service within a social housing working environment is beneficial as is a having relevant business administration qualifications.
