About the role
The role focuses on delivering core electrical repairs and servicing in customers’ homes and getting our void properties ready for relet.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for people who will help us achieve our targets for response times, reletting times, getting repairs right first time and customer satisfaction.
You’ll be qualified to City & Guilds level, or equivalent, and hold a qualification relating to the current edition of BS7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations). Ideally the candidate should also hold a City & Guilds - QCF Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations or equivalent.
The ability to multi-skill in other trades when required is a key part of this role.
You’ll be fully trained and have ongoing support from colleagues across Wheatley Homes South and the wider Wheatley Group. Experience of working in social housing is desirable but not essential.
You must be willing to take part in our on-call rota.
A current full clean driving license is essential, and the posts are subject to a level 1 disclosure check.
