About the role

The role has a focus on ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and reconciliations, enhancing management reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement in financial controls. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing timely key financial data that will support the Group business objectives and compliance with statutory requirements.

The Finance Manager will also provide an excellent service to the department’s customers with the provision of financial information and support, including but not limited to, assisting with key decision making and achievement of operational targets.

Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering at a senior level in a financial controls team with experience of statutory financial reporting, preparing consolidated accounts for a large company or complex group, along with experience in report writing at Board level. A good knowledge of FRS 102 and accounting systems is critical.

The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience of managing a team of finance professionals to deliver a challenging workload in a busy environment meeting all deadlines, as well as excellent customer service.
