About the role
The role has a focus on ensuring the integrity and transparency of financial reporting, enhancing management reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement in financial practices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing timely key financial data that support business objectives and compliance with statutory requirements.
The Finance Manager will also provide an excellent service to the department’s customers with the provision of financial information and support, including but not limited to, assisting with key decision making and achievement of operational targets.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management and statutory financial reporting within a large company, or complex group, along with experience in report writing at Board level, a good knowledge of accounting systems and good understanding of accounting legislation.
The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience of managing a challenging workload in a busy environment to meet all deadlines, as well as excellent customer service. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
