Young Persons Development Worker

Work Pattern: 35 hours per week with weekend work required on a rota basis

About the role

The role has a focus on providing housing support to people care experienced young people who are living in our Young Persons Project.

The development worker is also responsible for occupancy management, which includes occupancy sign-ups and supporting residents to adhere to the terms of occupancy.

The support provided by the Young Persons Development Worker is designed around the presenting and changing needs of the young person, in anticipation of them moving to their own permanent tenancy.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar support environment and have a sound understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards.

We’re looking for caring candidates who excel in customer service and strive to go above and beyond for our customers. They will be open-minded and keen to support people to live their best lives.

The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG membership scheme, register with SSSC and hold a driving licence with use of a car.
