Compliance and Energy Officer

Work Pattern: 35 hours per week, worked Monday – Friday exclusive of lunch breaks

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join the team as a Compliance and Energy Officer.

Our Compliance and Energy Officer will have day to day responsibility for certain key aspects, including:

  • Travel across the Wheatley housing stock to measure properties, generate EPCs and provide energy advice to frontline staff
  • Upload EPCs to the national portal and internal Wheatley Group systems
  • Maintaining accurate records to support audit and regulatory reporting on all Energy Performance Certificates.
  • Extensive experience in Building and Property Compliance within the context of Energy performance of buildings
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. And ability to use emerging technologies for completing EPCs.
  • Handling communications related to access to properties through Housing Management teams
  • Expert technical, professional knowledge and track record in the delivery of EPCs and energy related technical advice
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

This role as and when required is subject to supporting other compliance activities for example: also involved in latent defect monitoring through of SPEN or SGN and other ad-hoc compliance activities including assisting with the gas contractor.
